Why Support?
Here's the most important thing to know: this pledge isn't a purchase — it's a show of support.
Your $2 isn't buying a charm. It's your way of raising your hand and saying "yes, I want this to exist." Backing this campaign helps me show the manufacturing partners bringing these characters to life that there's real, visible interest in Planet Prismara — that people out there want the Munchkies in the world as much as I do. That public support is what seeds the whole project.
And if we don't reach our goal? Your $2 comes right back to you, no problem. There's zero risk in showing your support — only the chance to help something joyful get made.
So if these little characters make you smile, this is your moment to help me prove it.
Background
Meet Joy — the very first character from Planet Prismara.
Joy is a little yellow Munchkie who can find the bright side of absolutely anything, and she's the first of a whole community I've been dreaming up: the Munchkies. What I love about them is that they're all so wholesome, so silly, and so distinctly themselves — every Munchkie has its own vibe, its own personality, its own energy. They're diverse, they're joyful, and together they keep the lights on in the world of Planet Prismara.
This world came to me during a chapter of my life when I was pouring myself into work I believed in, but couldn't find my way back to the art I was known for. The Munchkies were how I found it again — my first time creating characters with real, distinct personalities, and a world I've loved exploring ever since. Some of you may remember the concept art from last summer. This is the next step: bringing them off the screen and into your hands.
Because I don't just want the Munchkies to live on a page — I want them to come with you. Joy is a bag charm, made to clip onto your backpack for back-to-school, your luggage when you travel, your tote on a hike, your purse — a little pop of good energy you carry wherever you go. She's the first. And every Munchkie who follows will bring a vibe all their own.
Start with Joy. Bring a little bright side along for the ride. 💛
