Background
Meet Vampy, the Vampire Squid. Despite the name (and those intimidating-looking spikes), Vampy isn't a bloodsucking vampire at all—just a gentle deep-sea cephalopod. And here's another surprise: it's not actually a squid, either. If anything, it's more closely related to octopuses!
