A gift to remember a short but glorious empire.

Have you recently become interested in Korea’s modern history? Have you ever thought, “Wouldn’t it be amazing if there were a plushie of a Korean Empire soldier anime girl?”

Then this little fella is just for you!

Don’t know what the Korean Empire even is? That’s also fine — because she’s adorable!

To all the nerds who love niche history: help bring to life an item you won’t find anywhere else in the world! This plush depicts an infantry soldier of the Korean Empire as she would have appeared in the early 1900s, before the country was colonized by Japan.

Why did I start this project? For nearly the same reason I began drawing — to keep alive the memory of a 13-year empire that fought desperately to survive, yet remains almost forgotten, even here in Korea.

To make this project a reality, we need 100 supporters to contribute $2 within 10 days — a steep challenge I know, but please help me make this dream come true!
