I’ve always been a huge fan of plushies, so the idea of having a plush of a character I created myself is incredibly exciting to me. Diya is a character I poured so much love and care into, and seeing her come to life beyond the animation would be a dream come true.
What would make me even happier is knowing that other people could have Diya in their homes and connect with her in their own way. I think there is something really special about turning an animated character into something you can actually hold, hug, and keep with you.
I’m incredibly excited about this opportunity with Gimme Swag and would love to see Diya take this next step beyond the screen!
Background
Diya is a little star who falls from the sky onto a completely unknown planet. In this magical new world, she meets Finn, a sweet little rabbit she manages to save — and honestly, isn’t he the cutest little bunny ever?!
Together, Diya and Finn explore the mysterious forest, discovering its magic while Diya slowly learns more about herself and the world around her.
Diya is the main character of an animated short film I created, which will be released once the plush is ready to be available to the public. I’m so excited to share her story and, hopefully, give people the chance to bring a little piece of her magical world home with them.
